A new PDF not study

According to a new study Should be rephrased as According to a new PDF Before that, you got to know what does it takes to publish a paper.

Yes there is a huge difference in that let me get this straight, at some point you have to admit your inability to understand the difference, progress is a double-edged sword.

  • Pick a problem
  • Solve in your way
  • Drafting it
  • Peer review

Usually, this process takes a year or maybe two, because it's the science that can't fast up for advancement. It's just not the way it works.

Scientists have published almost 2,500 studies on Covid-19 this year and that number doesn't even include the piles of preprints and drafts posted online that are yet to undergo the rigorous review process of a scientific journal that number is huge, for comparison, related to the virus SARS, scientists didn’t even publish anywhere close to 1,000 coronavirus studies in a whole year. But again all those studies doesn't mean they have solved the problem that is lurking on with this pandemic.

The gap is growing between how fast science really works and how fast we wish it would work.

NOW enter the media “what part of this scientific study do they get right”.

A reporter starts with a line according to the newly published study, and followed by an elite college name and throws a conclusion on viewers face, of course, they are very good at it, they wanted to reduce the cognitive load of the viewer so they put it more easily but that comes with a catch by not stating the odds of it.

The viewer obviously ‘us’ just consumes that data, even if you dismiss it with domain knowledge or with a light of hope. it just gets into your

the subconscious mind, you can't stop it.

Those unproven studies get into your daily conversations in WhatsApp groups or just a casual phone conversation with your friends, family and

guess what you're spreading the infodemic faster than the pandemic,

asymptotically!.

Yes, it's very important to keep yourself updated with information to stay aware and pass on the information in the best interest of your

friends and family.

But this infodemic does more harm than good, you are feeding the misinformation.

If you are a banker, engineer or mom and pop shop owner, live with it, just don't get into the field of medicine.

After all, You won't be entitled as best ‘“Whatsapp DOC.” of the year
